on the last day of 2008, i went out wif my boy, wei n her boy to celebrate the coming of the new year..mi n boy meet up in the noon after he book out at his hm n after he washed up n stuff we went to the orchard n bugis wanting to get his new year clothes..its overly crowded everywhere..its the kind of feeling like no one needs to work..haha..

in the earli evening meet up wih wei n her boy..went o xin wang cafe to eat mango ice and then shopped ard the area. initially we wanted to book tix for bed time stories but den onli left wif the first 5 rows so decided to give it a miss..

we moved on to the parade square outside of marina and found that is over flowing with huamn everywhere..singaporeans are so miserable we have got NO LIFE..haha..jus sitting everywhere and anywhere waiting for the fire works..its freaking boring for them i guess..

from esplanade we moved to clarke quay the human there are no lesser than marina but they are wsureli crazier and more pro-active i would call it..with the spray cans, light sticks, cute hairbands and caps they wore..makes sg looks a whole lot brighter =)

when the clock strikes 12..ppl went bersek everywhere la..taking the spraycans in their hands and attacking the whole wide world..eeekk! i m soo soo heng that the 4 of us siam the way trhough la..lol..

anyways, the year 2009 jus enter with us partying ard..i seriously have mani things on hand that i need to attend to..ranging from the minor ones to major ones..like should i get a new hair-do, to squeeze some brain juice for my new year's resolution.. to deciding wher to go to after prcp..haha..im so lazy to think..i m on pm shift tml n i m very sian by that tot..the onli motivation is looking forward to 29/1..its not far not far..

here to say good bye to my lappy that was pronounced dead on sat....
its registry got asystole(a flat line that u always see on the cardiac montioring machine)
on sat went to sim lim to customise one computer and got a LG 19" flatron monitor...haha
costed 650 bucks..of cos i share the cost wif my brother which is still a good 300++ bucks!
this thing makes mi broke! very very..

hi here to say abt my first nite duty ever..its interesting in the first nite where u get to do things that u nv get to do in the day for example the endless 2 hourly different medications and suppering or mac delivery haha..duh..n the quietness of nite accompanied by the snoring and the call bells..haa..

okie for the first day its busy due to 2 patients having hourly parameters(blood pressure, pulse, respiration taking and temperature too) den got 2 new admissions..its chaotic...

after we pass over to the morning shift ppl, one the patient who was one hourly paramteres taking pass away...kind of like relieve that he didnt pass away during my nite..zzz.

2nd nite get one admission and one patient pass away..can u imagine i have to ta bao the patient..zzz..wat i dun like to do most! im tired tired tired!!

okay last nite...nth much onli one admission...makes mi so sleepy that i heck care and just sleep from 200am to 300 am..haha...my preceptor oso din the same thing..all the nite shift staff all got different kind of sleeping styles..haha...some lye on table, some hug casenotes, some slp with jaw open big big..haha.....

i now proclaim that nite duty is the most torturing thing to do...........w/o sleep i will die!

the weekend was tiring for mi..it was my cousin's Big day!

23rd nov sun-its hard being sisters u noe, i gotta wake up at 5am to prepare and den reach her hse n 630 thereafter helping out on things to sabo the groom haha..din reali have a lot of time sabo him cos my cousin has to step out of the hse by 9 and he arrived with his brothers at 820...zzz.must be on suppose de!
after the sabo, finalli he gotta meet the bride and kiss her and wore rings...
next we went to marina barrage to do a mini photoshoot..its damn bloody hot.lol..we all melt all the way as it was like 930am....zzz..after the photoshoot, we went over to the groom's hse n had a tea ceremony...after some buffet, we went back to my cousin's hse n again its tea ceremony...i can tell u its reali very tiring lor.no joke.at nite, i lie flat on bed unable to move..haha..
24th nov mon-woke up at 12 n then went to fareast ard 2 to eat n shop n den set hair n make up..feeling like a princess though..lol..went to change n head towards to restuarant to help out n settle stuff...busy busy busy....solemnisation n dinner was smooth..haa.. towards to end the groom was high on liqour and all his brothers have to help..one very classic line that the groom say all nite was.."father-in-law, mother-in-law i will let u all carry grandson tomorrow!!!" haha..laughs!

7th nov: went wif i yee to donate blood at blood bank in the afternoon and then head down to DTE for claire's 21st bday celebration =) had fun over ther and stayed for the nite..tired tired..

we went to botak jones at bukit batok last friday at ard 7..when we reached ther the crowd is small but constant..its reali quite amazing to see a kopitiam having a very organised team of crew n all of them know wat role they play in the team..thumbs up! its reali a rare sight..haha..the usual is the most 2-3 ppl in a stall helping ard but at ther its at least 9-10 staff (1 at counter, 3 on floor and the rest in a open kitchen)..can u imagine the scene..lol..n the food very very huge in portion, many ppl from the surrounding tables had leftover fries on their plates...hmm..personalli i feel that its quite wasteful la..so the amazing us finished all the food u know*PROUD*haha...the food is reali well presented and nice to eat but just to add on that the colesaw is reali not up to standard...haiz..overall the food is worth our money de!

here i m to blog after such a long time.
mani disasters had happened recently
tons of reports and news on them
everyday we are being bombed wif the unhappy news
it jus remind mi that life is too unpredictable
a child's whole life can b having a happy family and the next sec b turned into an orphan.
the first news of myammar storm was big enough and then
came the sichuan earthquake....
during tis freaky warm season with the hit of all tis natural disasters
we cant help but sweat even more....haix
i wonder if we will get the next one sometimes..
let's hope bad things ends here...

tis coming wk is wk7 le...hav got napfa test on thu..seriously i doubt i can make it anyway..
not much hope in it..the once-every-wk-PE lesson has become history to me. i cant even complete 2.4km within the time frame, wat more the 5 other stations.....my disaster is coming....
omg. coming on fri i hav 2 ICAs... one almost done the other still not yet...wth!

with all the negative things coming up.....ther's onli one thing that i can look forward to...which is my 2nd anniversary on next sun.... i cross my fingers and pray that its an enjoyable one, pls!!!!!

yup. on 27th i went to the -escape to japan- autograph session with the book that ashin had written. more of a pictorial wif detailed words to explain and express his feelings during the trip...okie i do hav to admit that he's reali very friendly..to everyone who went up to hav his autograph, he would look into their eyes with proper handshake and say a warming thanks.although he look tired with a right sided red eye but he insisted on signing for everyone who's present there.

superb fun trip! not much of hiccups..everything was quite smooth..

all credits to the before hand research tt made the trip wonderful

Day 1 (23/2)

left hm at 710 hrs

reach changi airport at 0900hrs
flight at 1100hrs

in the singapore air

seeing from the sky of thai le!

reached Bangkok’s new Suvarnabhumi Airport, an ultramodern and pretty stylish airport at 1330hrs

long queue at the BKK arrival hall

left airport at 1400hrs

hopped on cab n headed towards IBIS SIAM hotel

reached at 1500hrs

waited to be checked in

step into the rm at 1520hrs

yeah!

left our bagguage in the hotel

n went out at 1530hrs

walked ard our area n had swensens ice-cream

was reali damn cheap la!!

haha..the banana spilt was 99 baht=4.3 SGD!!

their interesting swensens cup!
a must eat thing ther!!

KFC's 2pc chicken was 105 baht=4.6 SGD

den we shopped ard n ard 1700hrs we went to patpong night bazzar
it was consider a red light district but was reali an eye opener

n was reali crowded ther.lol. walk n walk till was late n went back to rest.

DAY2 (24/2)happy bday to wei..though its late..sori

CHATUCHAK weekend market **highly recommended place to visit

we almost 6 hrs ther, its reali shop till u drop!!!

constantly bargaining n buying is the thing u do ther..lol

never have got enuff time to shop the whole market cos

its simply toooooooo big~

nv get to se the pets section..sad sad

my foot was rotting by then..

our feets were suffering!! but no time to rest..haha

nth much ther..a very quiet bazzar..
not highly recommended to go..boring place compared to patpong..

DAY 3 (25/2) SIAM AREA=central world, ZEN, BIG C etc

was a reali high class place things ther were too expensive to mention

all were 4 digited price...zzzzz....

sian..but the place was reali very modern n clean la..unlike the other places..very filthy

lol..

somewhere near was the platinum fasion mall

the real shopping heaven for ladies in the house!!

YEAH

no joke

6 floors of apparels, bags, dresses, shoes, accessories etc..

u name it they have it!

i literally glided through the whole mall

not enuf time if u walk... reali hav to move fast n look fast..

if u like it u have to buy it or u cant find the shop back..its too BIG!

its something like 3 times our fareast plaza

DAY 4: Mah Boon krong
not as good as its was said to be nth much to shop...the things ther is also available at other places at a much much cheaper price. eg flip flops at khao san rd is at 50 baht but at MBK is at 199 baht! suck ur blood..haha

we went to far east, taka, tangs, wisma n heerens..

jus to update u all that i had changed my tank of guppies to a tank of gold fish le....currentli ther are 4 of them but when i first bought ther are 5 ....one jus die yesterday due to unknown reasons..lol...they are pretty cute but jus dun like their big appetite..haha...

hey guys long time din update my blog le
here to let u guys noe tt i now hav my very own fish tank in my room
although not huge in size but i m real proud to own some fish

din reali expected it to b fun la
but since having them life is a little more interesting
i went to Qian hu wif Wt on tue (18/9)
had a real good exercise on the way to qian hu
its my 1st visit ther
i felt that the fishes ther are reali out of ur best imagination
cos they come in all shapes and sizes haha
WT n mi bought 7 guppies home, 4 males and 3 females
i was told that they will give birth n i m damn interested in that fact

today is the 3rd day of being their owner n nth much happened so far
expect for 1 male died shortly after it was brought hm ....sobs

hey guys long time no blog..
here to update u guys on my recent obsectric attachment..
the past one week was reali an eye opener for mi.
i swear..
it was reali so different for the previous postings that i hav had.
i was in the baby nursery, delivery suite and labour ward.
first the new borns are reali damn cute la...they would jus make ur day so happi n fun..
haha..jus by looking at them u would alredy feel wonderful
nex ti went to see a caeserean section in the operating theatre..
reali cooool...it was a close up front thing..i was jus standin like 50 cm from the pregnant mummy giving birth.
then i oso saw the normal vaginal delivery in the delivery suite. onli 2 words....BLOODY n PAIN.
lol.
ohoh i oso saw an abortion in the ward.... Gross...the foetus is 3 mths old..with the shape form n everything...i jus feel so sad for the foetus...hais....

den slowing progressing to the 'now' singapore
it was reali amazing how singapore changed from a fish village

christmas is coming tml le! haha...ytd was christmas eve de eve n we went to leng's brother's engagement party..was reali crowded lor..lol...the food not bad la...haha...after that mi, leng n wdt went to orchard to walk walk...it was reali a long time since i last went to orchard le...haha...the crowd was reali too big! everywhere is people wif the "big sale" signs and ppl are all carrying the christmas gifts in their hands...lol...all the bosses are earning till siao..haha...tis year de christmas count down i oso duno wher i wil b oso..last year de was wif mum, leng n gene...haha..tis year still not yet finalise, mayb ther wont even hav any count down for mi oso...lol..k la..end here...

ok....here i m again to speak...i duno why n what went wrong..it is soooo wrong tat i start to get upset...hais...i hav been working n commiting at freshbox since last yr may....i hav been wif them for coming to one n a half years...its reali the longest job that i had hold ever....but recentli i haven been working for the past two weeks on my usual saturdays.....
all i receive is 'no schedule for u' thats all n i hav to bear wif tat....last sunday when i walked pass freshbox...i saw my superviser(mi n her are on good terms) so i went forth to tok to her....i ask her abt my schedule thing n all i get back was 'do u hav any wkdays schedule anot? cos now dun reali need part timers to help out on wkends'
......lol...wat m i supposed to react to that? OMG..after working for so long n tis is wat u give mi in return..n wat is funnier she tried to change topic to boss has already booked the CNY chalet n she ask mi to make myself free..n again wat m i supposed to say?! hais....
but nvm....i have already found another job at raffles place...thx to tricia...

the 2nd semester is totally different from the 1st semester and i cant reali find the excitment which i used to have in sem 1 le...haiz..everyday is a long n slow day..mani mani things that require my attention...mani projects coming..exams coming..attachment coming..i m trying hard to b motivated but sometimes when things get too much in my way...i feel like avoiding them all..was actualli thinking of signing the sponsorship so that i can hav my sat free from work..but being afraid of not doin well...i would rather go work on saturdays...haiz..working=tires mi out.ppl all hav 2 days to rest while hav onli got 1 to rest..thinkin of that makes mi sad..but the tot of no money makes mi even more sad..how contradicting of mi..hais..

haha....ytd went to wdt de lecture at 10am...so earli... mi went inside to slp only..duno wat input or output thing..i cant understand at all...lol..den after that went to AH to visit my fav. patient...hees...my ah gong....cute cute de..after that meet kw n wei at queenstown mrt to go to suntec to walk walk n eat eat...muahaha...while waiting for sihui to come we go carrefour to shop shop...so long nv went ther liao le....although very hungry while waiting but still gotta wait wait for hui to come...after walking, we went to the kai xin wu to sit down n wait for hui to come....when she came she was with a cake! lol...haha...look totalli delicious...slurp!! muahaha...-drools-a cake is irresistable, somemore its my bday cake u noe! haha...den after the cake come n the dian dao ni kai xin come..we eat n eat n eat like ther's no tml at all...tooo full to even stuff anything in my stomach...haha....den halfway went to shit...eerrkk! i noe its disgusting to shit while eating but no choice la...human got 3 urgent! haha..after eating went to acrade n esplanade to slack..muahaha...den around 8+ we went home liao le...

at home, after watching tv n bathing, i went to slp at 11....den at 12 the phone rang like ther's no tml....i was so tired that i din even wanna do anything to it...haha...after it ring for so long i finalli pick it up...it was wdt, calling mi to come out n meet him, den i went back to slp awhile more b4 goin out to open the door..haha...den he bring mi downstairs to sit, after toking for a while, suddenli got a music like funeral de start to play when i was abt to tell wdt that, a lit cake appeared..haha...haha...funnie lor...bday celebrate 2 times...haha..

reali thx to all fo u, that i hav had a wonderful 18th bday! thx for all the presents n cookies....its must hav took u all alot of effort to come out wif so mani things to surprise mi...i m reali thankful for all the things that u all hav done for mi !!

i stil hav got another 3 more days b4 my attachment ends....its getting boring....i m draggin my feet into the hospital everyday...hais...especially after the change of team...thankfully tml wil b a different staff nurse in my team..a nice one..haha...happi...at least dun nid to see the fuck up nurse anymore..lol..

after attachment i wil nid to go n work to earn money liao le...hais...mass work for 4 days den after that i will b celebrating my bday liao lo....muahaha...hapiie n sad at the same time...hapiie cos its my bday..sad cos i m getting old !!! my god....sobs...18...old old...lol...how i wish i m not getting any older by the days...impossible wish eh...end here...

kkz..i noe its has been a long time since i update my blog..its due to laziness n i admit it...lol...the last week was in cck polyclinic..my dear is very sweet to walk mi ther on the first morning..n he is always ther to eat wif mi during the lunch time de(until the rest of my collegues wil ask wher he is everyday..lol)...n that's not all he also will wait for mi to end work n send mi back hm...haha...though i nv verbalise how much i appreciate that..but inside mi..its reali a big 'thank u' to him...lolx..polyclinic was reali fun..much more fun den in hospital..much much more fun...in polyclinic, time pass faster n the ppl ther are more friendly unlike in the hospital, the nurses ther are mostly busy wif their things n so they dun reali interact wif students..hais...sad to say..my duration in hospital is double the time of polyclinic...poor mi...in the polyclinic...more time is spent on the chair den on my feet...cos everyday in the hospital its either u hear " Missi ah!! i want to xiao bian!!" or " Missi ah!! i want to da bian!!" or "Missi ah!! when is my food coming ah???"..hais...u noe u noe so i hav to walk in n out, up n down...seldom do i hav one moment without the 'noise' all around..i noe noe..thats wat a hospital shld b...i did expect those things to come but somehow its more tiring then u more imagine ok! i m on my feet for almost 7.5 hrs w/o rest n its no joke at all, i tell u..on the first day my feet nearli rot..haha...but my dear got help mi to 'lu' my leg la...haha...anyway, other den all these little problems ther are some other things that are must-to-do...for eg, the bathing n toilet-bringing of the ah peks n the changing of the ah peks n the serving meals n feeding the ah peks all are the daily routine of mi now..lol..i m trying hard not to complain but sometimes..its the human nature to complain de la...so bear wif mi...i might hav more complains to write in the coming days...lol...end here...bye..i jus got back..n i m tired le..lol

haiyo....wat a boring holiday tis time round..so sian de...not like last one de..at least got some kick...i m startin my attachment in 3 days time but i dun feel like i had enjoy anything at all..no sentosa?! no beach?! wat kind of hol..its kenna sai de holidays..no kick..hear mi RoARs!!! boring is all i can say..duno why tis time de holidays no fun at all de...hmm...mayb nua-ing at hm is the way that i shld spend my holidays tis time round...no longer gonna expect a fun holiday next time round wif mani ppl goin out..i would rather spend all my time wif my wdt..better still..save the hassle of so mani problems..and not enjoying in the end...lol..this few days are all spent tgt wif dear..although not doin much things but somehow it feels simple n comfortable wif him around..thx dear!
